Spreading Kindness:Small Acts, Big Impact

This year, Woodford State Bank’s Random Acts of Kindness initiative was dedicated to an extraordinary group of individuals: The Hospice Home and In-Home Hospice Care Team.

These compassionate caregivers provide more than just medical care; they offer comfort, support, and dignity to patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most difficult moments. From managing physical care to offering emotional and spiritual guidance, hospice teams ensure no one walks this journey alone. They help patients remain in the place they feel most comfortable, whether that’s at home, in a loved one’s home, or in a care facility, bringing peace, support, and unwavering dedication every step of the way.

But it’s not just the incredible staff providing care; did you know they also have five amazing volunteer dogs who come in to spread joy? These furry friends bring comfort and smiles to patients, families, and staff alike. Maggie, pictured here, is one of these special companions, offering unconditional love and a little extra warmth where it’s needed most.
